Harmony in Hues Wellness Center is looking for a Rockstar Social Media Marketing Intern! If you are looking to be a part of a multicultural counseling and wellness center then you are a candidate for Social Media Marketing internship.
The Social Media Marketing intern will be responsible for assisting in planning, implementing, and monitoring our nonprofits Social Media strategy in order to increase brand awareness, improve marketing efforts, increase awareness , and drive traffic to our website.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist in the development of and writing monthly editorial calendars, implementing and managing social media profile
- Work with nonprofit committee to ensure content is informative, appealing, and on-brand for our demographic
- Engage with followers on behalf of nonprofit
- Keep abreast of the latest social media best practices and technologies
- Use a social media marketing and scheduling software tool
- Work with digital marketers to monitor and understand SEO, user engagement, and suggest content optimization
Intern requirements and qualifications
- Have a good understanding and base knowledge of how to use social media for brand awareness and engagement
- Good knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Instagram
- Familiarity with web, graphic design, and publishing
- Excellent multitasking skills
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Team player
- Good time-management skills
- Great interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or similar relevant programs.
Our team is working remote and in-person. The person in this internship will not need to meet in person, but will be available for weekly check-ins, and communicate updates via email and group chats. We are also dedicated to having someone with a diverse background and is able to engage in our campaigns based on experience.
